In the film, Claire, a precocious yet still innocent pre-teen girl, tries to learn about her absent father by secretly painting his portrait from her imagination. When her mother discovers the painting, Claire learns an even bigger secret, and takes the first steps on the path to becoming a young woman.
Work on the film is progressing. Fundraising is underway and on schedule to be complete by July 30. We have assigned a crew of six producers and have begun location scouting, casting, and interviewing for key positions. Our producers include Kristen Murtha, Executive Producer of Emerson College's 27th Annual EVVY Awards – the largest student-run live multicamera show in the world (evvyawards.org); and Elizabeth Daly, Business Manager for Emerson Independent Video (eivtv.com) and Submissions Coordinator for the EVVY Awards.
